Weipa Camping Ground
OUR NEW LODGE IS NOW OPEN
Weipa Camping Ground is 13 acres of lush green lawns
abounding in shady trees on the shores of the beautiful Albatross Bay.
Plenty of shady camping sites are available, of which 98 are powered.
Fully self contained cabins with linen, towels, airconditioning, television, tea and coffee making facilities, some with fully equipped kitchens and private ensuites ranging in price from as little as $60 per cabin per night.
Cool off and relax in our large saltwater swimming pool.
The office stocks souvenirs, bait, ice, maps, etc.,
Weipa Camping Ground is the local information centre.
Permits are available for Mapoon, and Pennyfether at any time.
We have boat trailers for hire, as well as hire boats.
We will advise on and book fishing trips and scenic flights.
The Weipa Camping ground also conducts Mine Tours.
